如果是液体产品除硫，根据产品含硫量，把除硫剂用水稀释10—20倍，然后缓缓加入液体产品中，同时搅拌。
物化性质: 为白色或微黄色球状微细粉末，无臭、无味。密度 5.47g/cm ，相对密度4.42～4.45。熔点 1800 ℃，不溶于水和醇。微溶于氨。能溶于稀酸和氢氧化钠中。与百分之三十双氧水作用，释出二氧化碳，形成过氧化物 。
产品用途：用于生产人造丝、化肥行业的除硫剂、催化剂的主要原料，在橡胶制品、油漆其它化工产品中也可广泛应用,在石油钻井中，本品能与H2S反应生成稳定的不溶性ZnS，且该品加入泥浆后不影响泥浆性能，因而可有效的消除H2S的污染和腐蚀，用作含H2S油气井的缓蚀剂，除硫剂。还可用在工业上用做轻型收敛剂和乳胶制品，配制炉甘石洗剂。
